Delhi Capitals have beaten Mumbai Indians by three wickets and it is a thrilling win for the two-time finalists! What a win and it has come under nervy circumstances! Two runs were needed off the last ball and Arundhati Reddy managed to make it back to the crease before Yastika Bhatia whipped out the bails, as was concluded by the third umpire! This match had everything--action, thrill and a lot of drama and talking points and surely it has set the tone for the remainder of WPL 2025! For Delhi Capitals, young Niki Prasad played a crucial 35-run knock off 33 deliveries and that kept her side in the chase. Debutant Sarah Bryce also smashed 21 runs off 10 deliveries to help DC in the run chase. Mumbai Indians bowlers bounced back big time after Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning's quickfire start and this surely has to go down as one of the best games of the tournament. For Mumbai Indians, it was Amelia Kerr and Hayley Matthews got two wickets each.
