A new development has emerged in the case of an alleged attack on an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer, Shiladitya Bose, which occurred in Karnataka's Bengaluru recently. Shiladitya Bose, the IAF officer, was allegedly assaulted in a road rage incident in Bengaluru. Later, his wife, Squadron Leader Madhumita Das,  lodged a complaint with the police. Speaking about the incident, D Devaraj, DCP East Bengaluru, said, "This is not a case related to any language or reason. This is very clear from the facts and evidence collected from the morning. It is a clear-cut case of road rage, which is very common in Bengaluru." The DCP further said that the alleged assault could have been avoided by both parties. DCP Devaraj also said that six to seven youngsters tried to separate the two people and stop the fight when the altercation was taking place. Meanwhile, new CCTV footage has emerged that shows Wing Commander Shiladitya Bose assaulting the biker at Tin Factory Junction. The video clips also show locals trying to stop the fight, but the officer is seen continuing to assault the biker. The DCP also stated that one person, named Vikas Kumar, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
