Gwalior, April 23: A shocking incident of gangrape has come to light from Madhya Pradesh, where a three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her landlord's son and his friend. The alleged incident occurred on Tuesday, April 22, in Gwalior. Police officials said that the accused first lured the victim in their car on the pretext of buying her a candy and later raped her.
According to a report in the Free Press Journal, the incident took place in a colony under the Dabra City Police Station in Gwalior. During the preliminary investigation, cops learned that the victim's family lives on rent in the city. While one of the accused is the house owner's son, the other is said to be his friend. On the day of the incident, the accused took the victim in a car after giving her a toffee. When inside the vehicle, the two accused raped the three-year-old. Before dropping the victim back home, the accused told her not to reveal the incident to anyone; however, the three-year-old girl told her mother about the entire incident.
Post this, the victim's parents immediately approached the Dabra City Police Station and lodged a complaint against the accused. Acting on the complaint and the seriousness of the case, the police promptly arrested the accused. Amid this, a police team reached the victim's home and recorded the girl's and her mother's statements with videography. The accused have been booked and arrested under POCSO Act and relevant rape sections. Meanwhile, several police teams were formed and sent to different locations to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
