A Dalit man was allegedly tied to an electric pole and thrashed in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, police said on October 23. The Dalit man was tonsured, and his face blackened on suspicion of stealing a toilet seat, reported PTI. Reportedly, all the three accused, including a local BJP leader, have been arrested.
