Atiq Ahmed-Ashraf Killing: Internet Services Suspended, Section 144 Imposed; UP Police Intensifies Security In Prayagraj

On April 16, police patrolling was intensified in Prayagraj's Chakia area, reported PTI. Gangster Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead on April 15 in front of TV cameras. Atiq Ahmed’s residence is located in Chakia. Uttar Pradesh police tightened security across the state. Prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC have been issued in all districts of Uttar Pradesh. Internet services have been suspended in Prayagraj. The three shooters have been identified as Lovelesh Tiwari, Sunny & Arun Maurya. Watch the video to know more.
