Amanatullah Khan, AAP MLA Arrested By Delhi Police For Protesting Against SDMC Encroachment Drive

On May 12, Amanatullah Khan, AAP MLA was arrested by the Delhi Police. Khan was arrested for participating in a protest against an anti-encroachment drive. As reported by ANI, Khan was arrested for rioting & obstructing public servants in discharge of duty. On May 12, civic authorities carried out anti-encroachment drives in various parts of Delhi. On May 12 morning, Amanatullah Khan, who was part of the protest at Madanpur Khadar, was detained by Delhi police . Amanatullah Khan’s wife Shafia tweeted that her husband was detained by the Delhi police and there is no news of him and that his life is in danger.
