The 73rd Independence Day is observed throughout India on Aug 15, 2019. India has indeed achieved a lot in 72 years after getting freedom from British rule. Be it sports, economy, education and many other fields Indians have prospered over the years and are on the way to become the most powerful nation. Independence Day should be remembered for the leaders and freedom fighters who fought hard and even sacrificed their lives to remove Britishers from India.
