Rain Stays Away in Kolkata As Royal Challengers Bengaluru Beat Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025 Opener

There has been no rain interruptions so far in the game and the sky stays clear. The opening ceremony and the first innings happened without any pause. KKR finished batting with their first innings score being 174/8. RCB to bat next. 

Fortunately, without any interruptions the opening ceremony performances are over without any interruption, and it is time for the toss which is all set to be held on 7:10. 

The weather remains clear as of now at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and the opening ceremony has commenced with Shah Rukh Khan being the moderator. After the performers display their act, the KKR vs RCB match will take place.

Fans have started entering the Eden Gardens and have been providing visuals from the stadium. As previously updated, there is patchy clouds but none of them are dark and the sun is clearly visible. 

Although there is threat of rainfall throughout in the evening, fans have started to enter the Eden Gardens and take their seat. There are clouds over the stadium but they are not dark clouds and also there is strong winds. Fans are now waiting for the IPL 2025 opening ceremony which is now an hour away.

It is not bright as it was in the afternoon, with the twilight time nearing gradually. Clouds have been playing hide and seek with the sun and currently there are more dispersing ones. No dark clouds spotted as of yet. 

Things doesn't look bad as of now and rather promising. While the brightness of the sun has dimmed, the sun is well visible in the sky. There has been patches of cloud coming and going over Eden Gardens while the preparation for the match continue. 

The sun has stayed out for some time now. There has been no significant cloud coverage although some patchy cloud has made the sun play hide and seek with the fans. 

Fans get hopeful as the sky gets cleared up at Kolkata ahead of the KKR vs RCB IPL 2025 opener. It is sunny in Kolkata now and has stayed like that for sometime. The prediction for the evening still remains there but the clear sky is providing fans with hope of a full match without interruptions.

After the sun came out after a spell of rain the morning it has stayed like that for a few hours. Hopeful signs although there is prediction of rain in the evening. Fans will hope they get some action.

Sun is Out in Kolkata
