The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) conducted the 'Naman Awards' on Saturday, February 1. The BCCI Awards, also known as the BCCI Naman Awards, are being conducted to acknowledge outstanding performances in men's and women's cricket. The prestigious award ceremony first began in 2006-07. The BCCI Awards 2025 was held in Mumbai. India women's national cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana was awarded two prestigious awards across two categories. Veteran all-rounder Deepti Sharma also received the award for the category. India national cricket team ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah stole the show. The speedster received the Polly Umrigar Best International Cricket - Men's'. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was honoured with the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award by the BCCI.
