TV actor Kushal Punjabi’s death has taken the industry by grief and shock. The actor who was suffering from depression hung himself in his Pali Hill apartment. The news came as a shock to not just his fans but also his own family and friends from the industry. His body is kept at Cooper Hospital while his wife Audrey Dolhen and son Kiaan are expected to arrive from China for the funeral on Saturday. Celebs and his friends were snapped. Karanvir Bohra, Chetan Hansraj, Shenaz Treasury, Apurva Agnihotri, Mehul Nisar, Diandra Soares, Arjun Bijlani, Karan V Grover were amongst them who arrived to pay last respect to the late actor. Earlier, Karanvir, who has been a very close associate of Kushal shared the news on social media. He conveyed how he was still in denial about the news. “Ur demise has shocked the hell out of me.I'm still in denial @itsme_kushalpunjabi I know you are in a happier place, but this is unfathomable.The way you lead your life really inspired me in more ways than one....but what was I to know,” read an excerpt from his long post dedicated to him.

Kushal was battling depression and was on anti-depressants for a while. He was going through a rough patch in his personal as well as professional life. He wrote a one and half paged suicide note stating that he did not blame anyone for this extreme step that he took. He was separated from his wife and has a three-year-old kid. He has also left fifty per cent of his property for his parents and sister while the remaining half to his son. May his soul rest in peace.
