The eighth or the final season of Game of Thrones is merely days ever, and we are eagerly awaiting what the biggest show on television has for us. Based on George RR Martin's books, Songs of Ice and Fire, the HBO show is about thrones, magic, the undead and the dragons. Game of Thrones is also known for killing off characters brutally, sometimes even the main ones. With only a few surviving main players going into the eighth season, and facing the likes of White Walkers and the Golden Company, we expect more deaths to happen! Not Just Game of Thrones, Television's Long-Running Shows Like Modern Family and Suits Set to Wrap Up Too
Some of the heroic characters are definitely going to bite the dust, and there are bets on who will bid us adieu from mortal life. But there are certain vile characters that have over-stayed their welcome on the show for far too long, and we expect them to be killed by the end of the show. That is, if there is any kind of cosmic justice in the world of Westeros. Like these six characters below:
Cersei Lannister

Well-written characters like Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is what makes Game of Thrones so special. You would absolutely hate Cersei for being the vain, selfish royal figure who can kill people for self-perseverance. However, her love for his kids, in Tyrion Lannister's own words, is what made her humane. Now with all her children dead, the strings of humanity that tied Cersei to the humble grounds are broken off and she will be more vicious than ever. Considering that whosoever sits on that Iron Throne doesn't have a long shelf-life, Cersei is having the Damocles' sword hanging over her. The only bet we have is who is going to kill her. Arya Stark? Sansa Stark? Tyrion Lannister? Euron Greyjoy? Or her brother-cum-lover, Jaime?
Euron Greyjoy

From the moment, he appeared on screen in the sixth season, there was nothing likeable in this sea pirate aiming to be Cersei's husband. Euron Greyjoy suffers fro one-dimensional arc, but the show has managed to show him for what he is - a despicable, treacherous warlord, who has the potential to be the final villain. But we are sure that he won't last long, as he mostly will be killed by his nephew Theo Greyjoy, or niece Yara or perhaps even by Jon Snow. Though we love to see him get roasted by Dragon-fire!
The Mountain

The hulking figure may be behaving like a zombie now, but he has committed quite a few heinous crimes on the orders of his rulers. From rapes to baby murders, there is nothing below the line for this monster. Do you really want to see him survive the finale? Bring on the Clegane Bowl, please!
Qyburn

It is with the re-entry of Qyburn on the show as Cersei's adviser cum maester, that she grew to be more powerful than ever. It is difficult to get a read on how evil Qyburn is as a man, but his fascination for darker forms of magic, especially necromancy, is what makes him so dangerous. Not to forget, he is also the reason why we still have Mountain on the show! To think, he is only alive until now because of Robb Stark's kindness.
Melisandre

Melisandre might be on the heroes' side for now. She is the reason why Jon Snow came back from the dead and she is the one who nudged Daenerys Targaeryn towards forming an alliance with him. That said, we really cannot forget the dying screams of the little Shireen Baratheon who was burnt alive on a stake by her parents thanks to Melisandre's 'prophecy'. She was also manipulatively dangerous and gave birth to a shadow baby who went on to kill Renly Baratheon. Featuring on Arya's kill list, Melisandre could end up at the sharp end of the Needle. Or she could also be killed by Brienne, who was a sworn protector of the dead Renly.
The Night King

Of course, the Night King has to die. The question is, can he be killed? At present, he is the most powerful entity in the show - who can raise humans and dragons from the dead and make them do his bidding. With his army growing by the day, it might take a lot of sacrifices from Winterfell and more magic to take him down. Though, going by a popular fan theory, his demise is only temporary relief - he might be resurrected in the form of Bran Stark.
