The 2025 BAFTA Awards celebrated yet another year of cinematic brilliance, honouring the finest achievements in film over the past year. Hosted by the charismatic David Tennant, the ceremony took place on February 16, 2025, at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre. Brady Corbet won Best Director for The Brutalist, which also won its lead star, Adrien Brody, the Best Actor award. Mikey Madison won Best Actress for Anora. Anora also won Best Casting. Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor for A Real Pain (which also won its actor-director Jesse Eisenberg Best Original Screenplay). The controversial musical-drama Emilia Pérez won Best Film Not in the English Language and also Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Zoe Saldaña.
