Bollywood is churning out some really content-driven movies lately. Finally, filmmakers have been understanding the audience's need to watch good stories on the screen, so they are going out of the way to search for some good stories. The latest one is based on Delhi girl, Uzma Ahmed, who was rescued from Pakistan. As per the fresh reports in Mirror, Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to play India’s then Deputy High Commissioner, JP Singh, in Islamabad. A source told the tabloid, "When the team met for a narration, Saif instantly liked the script. He has agreed to be a part of the project and will be sporting a very different look in the film, which is expected to roll in February-March next year. The makers are currently looking to cast an A-list actress to play Uzma."

The director of the film is Shivam Nair who earlier directed Akshay Kumar-Taapsee Pannu's Naam Shabana, a spin-off of their previous film, Baby.

For the uninitiated, the story is based on an Indian girl who fell in love with a Pakistani guy in Malaysia. She was forced to marry him at gunpoint in Pakistan after she found out that he was already married with four children. JP Singh and former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj rescued her from the situation.

Saif is also gearing up for other interesting movies like Jawaani Janeman and Dil Bechara. We are extremely excited about this one and we really hope to hear soon on who is roped in as Uzma!
